Women’s Ministy

Welcome to CBBF Women's Ministry!

At Caring Believers Bible Fellowship Church, our Women’s Ministry is a vibrant community where women come together to grow in faith, fellowship, and purpose. We believe every woman has a unique calling, and our ministry exists to nurture that calling through spiritual development, encouragement, and meaningful connection. Whether you’re a young adult, a mother, a professional, or a seasoned believer, you are welcome here.

Our mission is to create a Christ-centered space where women can deepen their relationship with God, build lasting relationships with one another, and serve with compassion. Through regular Bible studies, prayer meetings, retreats, and outreach opportunities, we are committed to helping women live out their faith boldly and joyfully. We stand on the truth of Galatians 6:2“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

The Women’s Ministry is lovingly led by Sis. Nancy Awokande, whose passion for God and heart for women continues to inspire and uplift our church community. Under her leadership, the ministry has grown in both purpose and impact, encouraging women to walk in unity, strength, and love. Her leadership reflects the spirit of servanthood and the pursuit of spiritual growth that defines our ministry.

We invite you to join us—whether for a small group, a special event, or a casual coffee chat. This is a place where you’ll find support, friendship, and a deeper connection with God. Come grow with us, serve with us, and be reminded that you are never alone. You are loved, valued, and essential to what God is doing here at CBBF.

We believe that every believer has a unique purpose and a place to serve in the body of Christ. Whether you feel called to volunteer in one of our ministries, use your gifts to support the church, or take the next step in your faith through baptism—there’s a place for you here at Caring Believers Bible Fellowship.

Joining a ministry or being baptized is more than an action—it’s a commitment to grow, serve, and walk closer with God. We welcome you to get involved, build meaningful relationships, and make a lasting impact for the Kingdom.

Ready to take the next step? Speak with one of our pastors after service or contact us to learn more about volunteering or preparing for baptism. We’d love to walk with you on your journ

pray, grow and share with us

First, we must understand church is not a building, a Sunday school class, or a service time. According to scripture, a church gathering is a group of people coming together in Christ and the people are the church. Jesus shows us in Matthew 18 that a gathering can be as little as two people together.

The service usually involves the singing of hymns, reading of scripture verses and possibly a psalm. If the church follows a lectionary, the sermon will often be about the scripture lections assigned to that day. Eucharistic churches have usually Holy Communion either every Sunday or several Sundays a month.

There are no rules as to what to bring to church, other than your self, an open heart and mind. Some bring a bible, if you’re going to engage in bible study.

If you want to know how to dress for church, something modest and comfortable should be fine. Generally, graphic tees that show off sports team logos or bands should never be worn to church. Solid-colored tops are fine, and even something with a pattern should be OK to wear.

Yes, absolutely. We’ll be so delighted.
